Право же американцы умеют снимать стоящие фильмы, только делают это раз в несколько лет.
Может чаще, но до нас они не доходят.

Мыслеблудие об увиденном

Во-первых, мозгосносен Микки Рурк.
Мужику 57 лет, но он охренительно выглядит. Более того он потрясающе вжился в роль и все шло настолько гармонично, что фильм воспринимался совершенно естественно. Он прекрасно передал сердце рестлера.
Далее его игра...После этого фильма Микки значится в моем списке наравне с Де Нирро, Хоффманом и Николсоном. Браво! Просто нет слов...и жалко, что Оскара за это ему не дали.

Во-вторых, мы привыкли видеть блокбастеры от Голливуда, заезженные ужастики или какие-то искусственные мелодрамы. Тут же редкий случай - драма, не вызывающая отторжения или негатива. Смотришь и понимаешь вот она жизнь, а не какая-нибудь карикатурка на печальное. Удовольствие от этого фильма прежде всего в деталях — грязноватая документальность жизни...Очень цепануло.
"Рестлер" относится к профессиональному рестлингу с уважением и реализмом, которого раньше в кино не было, — Питер Скиретта.

Смотря, что хочешь посмотреть. Хэппиенда нет. Хотя финал и открытый, но концовка весьма однозначно ясна. Все очень легко смотрится, будто чья-то жизнь без прикрас, хотя и с юмором временами, но также и с бытовухой. На мой взгляд это совокупность жизненной реальности с драмой. "Рестлер" очень похож на "8 милю", где снялся Эминем, только с бОльшим искусством и эстетизмом сделан. Но нотки драмы будут проскальзывать на все протяжении фильма, поэтому если и в жизни проблем хватает, лучше не смотреть.
